How and when did you fall in love with radio?
Initially I wanted to be on TV, but in 2003 a comununity radio station announced that they were seeking presenter’s and I submitted my demo - out of the 280 people who applied, I was one of the 8 people they took in.

I listen and like a little bit of e everything, as long as it boils my blood stream

Best part of the job
Travelling and meeting people, and actually getting a positive respond from them. It’s really amazing, to hear people telling you how much positivity you bring in their lives
Worst aspects of the job
When I have a coarse voice and I can’t go on radio to talk to listeners.
Most memorable moment since getting your job?
Interviewing LOC CEO Dr Danny Joordaan and Mme Betty Dlamini, a very inspiring woman who is into developing sports in SA.
What do you enjoy about your job most of all?
Getting to meet listeners and knowing that no day will ever pass by without me learning something new and touching somebody’s life
Qualifications and previous experience that got you the job…
Becoming an Actor at PACOFS, being a groundBreaker for loveLive helped a lot, because it added more spark to my personality and self esteem and also the 3yrs volunteerism I did at Qwaqwa radio helped
What personality traits/skills/attributes help a person to get a job like yours?
Great voice, great personality, intelligence, and fluent in Sesotho speaking. You should be an outgoing person and be clued-up about currentl happening - and you should really, really be a peoples person
Advice for people wanting to get into your industry…
You have to have passion, drive, willingness and the voice. Well that’s your God given talent, use it- no matter what, if you are meant to be on radio, you will be, no matter how long it takes
Except radio, what else are you doing??
I do Acting, Modelling, MC and a lot of motivational sessions in schools,
