Who/What is your greatest inspiration?
To be the greatest radio presenter ever of my generation.

How would you describe yourself in 5 words?
Reserved, shy, quiet, fearless and realistic

What keeps you motivated?
Knowing that there are people whose lives are depending on me and who depend on me financially keeps me going!

Do you consider yourself a celebrity? If yes, what would you want the public to celebrate about you? If No, what do you think makes a person a celebrity
I think firstly we should get the meaning of what a celebrity is? Personally if you are a celebrity you should be very good in what you do, be very famous, influential and be financially secured for life which I guess very few in South Africa can claim that. In short, I’m not one!

How and when did you fall in love with radio?
This radio bug started at a very young age. I remember going to the
Bloemfontein show at about 11 years with my parents, I would stand there
Watching the late Thabang Rampooana doing his thing but unfortunately I didn’t get to know him personally and I’m trying to keep his legacy on radio!

What personality traits/skills/attributes help a person to get a job like yours?
I think you need to be talented and you need to be passionate about this job. Being streetwise has helped me a lot and again if you know where you come from and not taking your listeners for granted because they can either make you or break you. So in short give your listeners the time and respect they deserve.

What advice can you give to people who want to get into the entertainment industry?
Identify your strong points and work on your weaknesses, be very passionate about what you are doing and stop being a celebrity. if you respect the microphone it will change your life forever. HALA BEKE NGWANAKA.

Except radio, what else are you doing?
I don’t have free time, ke matha paaap nako esa ntumella.
I’m into so many things it will take the whole day to mention them but like I’m saying,” keya matha”. You should work hard when you still have the time because radio is like a soccer career, if you don’t use your opportunity whilst people still like you, “otla llela metsotso”!
