How and when did you fall in love with radio?
This radio bug started at a very young age. I remember going to the Bloem show at about 11 years with my parents. I would stand there Watching the late Thabang Rampooana doing his thing. Those were the days.[unfortunately I didn’t get to know him personally, but I’m keeping his legacy on radio}
What kind of Music do you love
Growing up, the only music that I was exposed to was reggae. I had a neighbour who will play reggae 24/7. But when I was able to buy music myself, I just fell in love with kwaito. I guess that is why they call me kwaito general.

Most memorable moment since getting your job?
Being told by legendary personalities like Chomane Chomane,Thuso Motaung and Wilson B Nkosi that what they hear from me is what they used to do when they were my age. If it was not of my job on radio, there was no way they were gonna tell me those words.

What personality traits/skills/attributes help a person to get a job like yours?
Personally I think you need to be talented, one need to be passionate about this job. For me, being street-wise has helped me a lot. Again if you know where you coming from, you will never take your listeners for granted. They can either make or break you. In short, just have time and respect for the listeners, it will help you a lot…
Advice for people wanting to get into your industry…
Identify your strong points and work on your weaknesses. Be very passionate about this and stop being a celebrity. If you respect the microphone, it will change your life forever..HALA BEKE NGWANAKA.
Except radio, what else are you doing??
My man,I don’t have free time..ke matha paaap nako esa ntumella. I’m into so many things it will take the whole day to mention them. But like I’m saying, keya matha. You should work hard when you still have time, because radio is like soccer career. If you don’t use your opportunity whilst people still like you, otla llela metsotso.
