How and when did you fall in love with radio ?
I wanted to grow and explore. I have done singing and was on T.V but I realised that my true love was for radio and what better way to be on a station that speaks your language, Lesedi FM

What kind of Music do you love?
I am a big fan of House and Hip Hop. I do love other music as well

Talk Shows and comedy does it for me

Tennis is my sport of al time and my favourite team is Bafana Bafana

I love being in the house because I get to work a lot outdoors so I make the best of my time indoors

Describe a typical day at work
I get to work and check that all is in order for me to go on air and do the necessary testing that
is needed to allow me going on air with no problems. If there are any guest that I will be
interviewing I make it a point to remind and check that they are still coming for the interview. I
also check my mail to see if there are any special messages and notices.

Best part of the job
My best part of my job is when listeners participate by calling in on air and having their say. I love
speaking to listeners

Worst aspects of the job
Preparation for each show is hard work and sometimes I cant get hold of people I am suppose to
interview due to their other commitments and I guess that’s my worst part of the job

Most memorable moment since getting your job?
My most memorable moment of the show was broadcasting Di a roropa live at Macufe. It was of the hook

What do you enjoy about your job most of all?
I enjoy bringing change to peoples lives and making people happy over the weekend.

Qualifications and previous experience that got you the job…
After my matric I got a diploma in Business Management and a certificate in Business Studies. I
guess these help in me selling myself and the slots that I am doing

What personality traits/skills/attributes help a person to get a job like yours?
You need to communicate with ease and not get emotionals when others cannot speak appropriately. You have to have a good ear and have to understand your listeners very well. Being humble is also another quality that one has to have when being in this industry

Advice for people wanting to get into your industry…
If you do it out of love and nothing else, you will soar high like an eagle

Except radio, what else are you doing??
Private functions and I also do Mc’ing for shows and promotional work
