How and when did you fall in love with radio?
After Matric I did LLB Law until I realised that I was in the wrong path,as I started falling in love with media,then in 2002 radio chose me.

Because of my environment I listen to almost everything just to be on the same par with our listeners.

Sport shows obviously & soapies
Favorite Color
Any bright colour wil do.
Indoor or Outdoor
Indoor cause my job takes me out too much (not complaining ofcourse)
Dress code
Sportwear & some formal here & there.
Describe a typical day at work
It depends on what's hot for the day. Then I'm required to be out there researching & attending press conferences as early as 9am, then off to the studio to edit & prepare for the show of the day. Then from 1pm I do my bulletins until 6pm.
Best part of the job
Freebies of course (getting to wear all the soccer team jerseys before they are even in stores. Meeting high profiles in our different sporting codes & gaining respect from those people because of the job your doing.
Worst aspects of the job
Not spending much time with my family because of going all around the country
Most memorable moment since getting your job?
Being able to meet & taking photos with the FIFA delegates (Sepp Blatter&Jerome Valcke). Being able to tour with the proteas team & going out of South Africa to cover some of the events.

You need to have a passion in sports & know how to communicate.
What personality traits/skills/attributes help a person to get a job like yours?
Just be flexible & energetic.
Advice for people wanting to get into your industry…
Just believe in ur capabilities &go for what u want. Do not stop knocking on those doors.

Mceeing different sporting events around the communities & working with kids on different sporting codes in soweto.
