TIME TO CELEBRATE AT LESEDI FM

Lesedi FM marked its 53rd Birthday on 01 June. “While the Station has deferred the ‘Big Birthday Mokete’ to September 2013, we undertook to go out and celebrate our recent achievements with our listeners. The crew descended on Ventersburg in the Free State on 25 May and invaded Carletonville in Gauteng from 31 May to 2 June. The choice of location was influenced by the fact that most of our listeners come from these two Provinces,” says Manko Tsoehlisi (Marketing Manager – Lesedi FM).

Lesedi FM has realised an average of 400 000 listener increase over the past 2 years. In 2011 the station had 3.4 million listeners and according to the May 2013 RAMS, the Station is on a 3.8 million mark.
