My career in radio began when I founded Bloemfontein’s first community radio station.
ABC News reached out to me. Lesedi FM offered me the opportunity to host their afternoon drive show during my first year at ABC News.
Later in my career, I joined ABC Sports after doing a number of shows for the station. After putting in a lot of effort in the sport department, I was promoted to portfolio manager and held that role for almost five years.
I was still with ABC Sports when I made the decision to pursue business opportunities. Two years ago, I received an offer from the station to work as a freelance sport bulletin.
What distinguishes me as an OAP?
I get my bulletins ready. I always use trustworthy visitors. I speak Sesotho correctly. I’m artistic as well.
